Big Murals & Billboards
Large 3D/Lenticular displays can be created by using multiple panels. Lenticular sheets are typically manufactured in sizes up to 48" wide x 96" high (122 x 244 cm). Big3D can tile your image for almost any finished size.
Project: Staples
Big3D.com Worldwide has created two matching 14 foot x 48 foot outdoor billboards for Staples. The billboards (installed in
Los Angeles, CA & Boston, MA.) are complete 2-flip images and part of Staples' "Easy Button" campaign. Heavy text messages
are prone to produce a ghosting effect, so the green pattern background was pushed into a 3D depth background to reduce that
ghosting.
For music fans, the LA billboard is photographed from outside the Whiskey-A-Go-Go on Sunset Blvd, where Jim Morrison and The
Doors were discovered.
Project: VW Billboard
This billboard, installed July, 2003 in Atlanta, GA, combines lenticular with conventional printing. This perfect 2-flip image takes up 12 x 24 feet on a 14 x 48 board. You can save lots of money by using lenticular for dramatic effect on only part of your board.
Project: Estee Lauder Indoor Mural
This indoor mural measured 8 ft tall x 24 ft wide. Each 48x96 lenticular panel is mounted to half inch gator for support with a free standing frame support. The 3D depth image spans all six panels. Proper alignment and phasing of each panel ensures a seamless appearance. (Agency credit - Event Eleven)
Project: Airport Display

This may be the wildest lenticular creation ever. A six-sided lightbox with 3D lenticular images up to 10 ft x 12 ft. Installed for the new Boise, Idaho airport in June, 2003. For more on this wild project, see How we did it.
Project: CyberWorld 3D Billboard
The first billboard to successfully combine 3D and animation on a full size billboard.
What IMAX has to say:
"We searched the globe for a company with the technical savvy and know-how to pull off this demanding project. It's clear to us now why Big3D.COM is widely respected as the world leader in large format, lenticular graphics. Their work is amazing!"
